In addition to Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services and activities, the church provides childcare service for events, meetings and church related activities.

To help address the work life balance of our ministries, staff, and church members as well as to maximize the cost efficient of child care services, we off Mondays (both day and night) as the suggested and regularly dedicated occasions for church meetings requiring childcare services. It is strongly encouraged that you schedule meetings to occur on Monday's as much as possible.

Childcare services for Monday meetings or any other occasion throughout the week do require a reservation. Reservations for childcare services can be made by contacting Brandy Robinson, our Coordinator of Preschool Ministries, at brobinson@fbsumc.org, or call the church office at 423-246-4471.

Children explore their faith through play and activities custom designed for preschoolers.

Sunday School 9:30-10:45 (2, 3, and 4 year olds) First Floor of the Wesley Wing
Children deepen their faith through Bible stories and concepts, music, and active play.

Children’s Worship 8:30-9:30 and 10:45-11:45 (ages 3 – third grade) Room 232
The Godly Play curriculum is used in children’s worship time to engage young children through Bible stories, prayer, and active learning.

Kids JAM 6:00-7:30 (Kindergarten through fifth grade) Second Floor
Children meet to deepen their faith through large group (worship and Bible time) and small group activities (games, art, and more).

Sunday School 9:30-10:45 (Kindergarten through fifth grade) Second Floor
Sunday school begins with large group worship and music. Kids then divide by grade level to experience Bible stories and concepts through a weekly rotation of stations (art, science, games, missions, theater, and temple).
